Celtics stumble in the finish to road trip despite Brown's return: Donovan Mitchell had a game-high 36 point while Rudy Gobert added 18 points and 12 rebounds, helping the Jazz pull away late from the Celtics for a 122-108 win.

Jaylen Brown was back to his All-Star level (33 points) in his return from a knee injury but his supporting cast struggled against a stout Utah defense. Jayson Tatum scored 23 points on 20 shots while Kemba Walker had a brutal offensive night again (2-of-12) for the second straight game to finish with just seven points. Daniel Theis had a career night from 3 (five makes) to keep the C’s close in the second half but the Jazz pulled away with too much firepower late (five players in double figures).

The C’s finish their road trip with a 2-3 record and head home with a 12-11 record after their second straight defeat.
