Good morning!
A few random thoughts while I wonder if the Bills will stay wedded to Josh Allen-Tannehill or move on...
- Patriots improved to 4-0 with a bit of a butt-clencher in Orchard Park.
- Pretty much everyone expected a grind, where points would be at a premium. Yet it happens, and everyone loses their mind about weaponzzz and bad line play.
- Here's a bulletin: the weapons are fine (a bit banged up) and the offensive line has actually not been bad to this point.
- So stop looking for blame and just tip the cap to the Bills, and admit the Patriots' offense was bad yesterday and that includes Tom Brady, maybe more than anyone else. He had a bad day. It happens every season. The sun will come up tomorrow.
- Jonathan Jones should have gotten flagged — I wouldn't want Brady being hit like that — but that's it. Any talk more than that is nonsense and should be ignored.
- Awesome job by the defense. But Allen is terrible. The Patriots did the Bills a favor knocking Allen from the game.
- Quite a turnaround for the Revs under Bruce Arena: the team clinched their first playoff spot since 2015.
- Thank goodness this terrible Red Sox season is over.
