- Finally, some live football is on the horizon this evening. Chris and Greg will have you covered on the scene in Gillette, while Chris gets you ready this morning with what to watch for in the preseason opener.
- Sean McAdam makes a pretty compelling case for J.D. Martinez making a strong run against Mookie for AL MVP.
- If Red Sox keep winning at this rate, they will have a chance to make a run at the Mariners 2001 mark for the best regular season record ever. Kind of amazing given the number of injuries this group has dealt with.
- Celtics get a pretty big test out of the gate of the regular season with the Sixers and Raptors within the first four days of the year. Probably not a bad thing considering how much continuity they have. Full schedule comes out Friday.
