BSJ Daily Briefing 09.28.17: The Doctor is in taken at BSJ Headquarters (Regular Features)

(Winslow Townson/USA TODAY Sports)

So, as you've noticed, we've had Dr. Jessica Flynn contributing from time to time, including her very accurate, real-time injury assessments of Julian Edelman and Cyrus Jones. As I've said previously, Jessica is someone I wanted as part of the site since the planning stages, and it was great to finally have her in the fold.

Through no fault of her own, it's been difficult to nail down subsequent contributions from her because almost immediately CSNNE snatched her up and is using her on-air (a lot), including as part of their Patriots coverage. That's great exposure for her, Lahey Hospital and it's beneficial to you, the fans. Jessica is really good at what she does, and the more of her the better for you.

But I wasn't sure where that left us. She's a wife, mom and has a pretty substantial day job. I didn't want to ask for more from her.

Good news: we have figured out a way for her to be a regular contributor. Jessica will be doing a weekly mailbag on Friday, giving us her thoughts on the Patriots' injury situation heading into the weekend, and then she'll answer all your questions about all four teams.

You can submit those questions at any time via email (docflynn@bostonsportsjournal.com), or you can Tweet them to her here.
