Good morning!

Your daily rundown of what’s going on with the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and Revolution, and what’s about to happen, for BSJ members only …

  • NFL trade deadline day is here at 4 p.m. today and the Pats are in line to be sellers based on their 2-5 start to the season. However, the asking price for some of their biggest names looks to be costly heading into the final hours as ESPN reports that Bill Belichick wants a first round pick and a player for Stephon Gilmore.

  • Other names that Greg would be willing to talk about at the trade deadline: Joe Thuney (2nd or 3rd-round pick), Sony Michel (6th round pick), Lawrence Guy (4th round pick), James White (4th round pick), Adam Butler (5th round pick)

  • Bill Belichick made some more big admissions about this Pats season and Greg puts them in proper perspective in the wake of a 2-5 start.

  • The few bright spots of the Patriots' loss on Sunday included Damien Harris and Jakobi Meyers.

  • There are a few appealing shooting options for the Celtics in this NBA Draft to upgrade their bench firepower. I look at how a few names might fit in Boston.

  • Sean previews the Sox minor league free agent class
