A few random thoughts while I wonder if Tom would welcome Bill to stop by his vacation for a chat...
- The red-hot Bruins made it a Florida sweep by beating the Panthers on Torey Krug's OT goal.
- One piece of bad news: defensive stud Brandon Carlo took an elbow to the mug. He's really developed into a shutdown D.
- Good weekend of hoops for the Celtics as the Jazz and Thunder come to town. Gordon Hayward will not face his former team ... and Marcus Smart was fined.
- Chris Sale spoke about his elbow and it sounded like he feels surgery is coming at some point. At least he feels bad about the situation. Some guys wouldn't care.
- The Red Sox signed a pitcher ... who also can't pitch right now.
- I have a chat this weekend!
- Why on Earth would the 49ers have to say anything about Tom Brady rumors?
