Good morning!
A few random thoughts while I wonder what cranky Butch is like around the house...
- Bruins played an awesome regular-season game last night against the Islanders and, tell me if you've heard this before, lost in a shootout. That's four straight L's at home, and seven of eight overall.
- Don't think Bruce Cassidy is very happy: "Some of that isn’t the goalie working to find the puck, some of it’s boxing out, some of it’s on our forwards to get in the damn shooting lane." ... Yikes.
- One bright spot: Anders Bjork, who almost had two goals last night.
- Weird that the Patriots play tomorrow, so the team is off. We know Jonathan Jones (groin) is out. Julian Edelman (knee/shoulder), Ja'Whaun Bentley (knee), Jamie Collins (shoulder) and Jason McCourty (groin) are all questionable.
- Bills are pretty healthy.
- Some of the players listed above are part of the "issues" with the Patriots' run defense. While they're a player short for what they really want to do, we talk about the moves they'll likely make for the postseason to solve the problems.

- If you were believing reports that the NFL could have a new labor agreement by the Super Bowl ... yeah, I don't think that's going to happen.
- Celtics are hosting the Pistons tonight.
