Good morning!
A few random thoughts while I wonder if Brian Flores knew what he was in for...
- Patriots are kicking ass and taking names at this point. Sunday's 43-0 win over the Dolphins was far from perfect — 7-0 in the second quarter? — but ended up looking pretty damn good.
- The defense looks like it hasn't even broken a sweat yet.
- But we need to talk about Stephen Gostkowski... I would blow it off but the Super Bowl will be played in that stadium. SG hasn't been good in that stadium or in Super Bowls.
- Postgame Radio Show
- I broke down Antonio Brown's debut. Productive but uneven and plenty to work on.
- Thanks to the Dolphins, the Patriots solved their red-zone issues.
- An update on LT Isaiah Wynn:
- Charlie McAvoy got a bridge deal. Now, on to Brandon Carlo.
- Red Sox ownership deserves some blame.
- Danny Ainge's best free-agent signings.
- If the Revs miss the playoffs, you can point to Saturday's tie.
Time to hit the links...
PATRIOTS
Stephen Gostkowski has another miserable day in Miami (missed FG, 2 XPs) … are there better options?
