Good morning!
A few random thoughts while I wonder who designs the Red Sox' pitching programs...
- I mean, seriously. I need to know who sat in a meeting and said, "You know what? Nathan Eovaldi is only going to need one inning of a rehab start before he's ready to be thrown into the biggest stretch of games this season."
- It was probably the same person that suggested the Red Sox' pitchers — you know, the guys who get paid to throw the baseball — don't really need to throw in spring training games to ready for the season.
- Whoever it was, that person needs to be reassigned.
- A humungous shock that Eovaldi came out and was shelled in his debut last night. Luckily, the Red Sox were leading 8-0 at the time.
- Man, ERod is so good when he just moves the ball around and pitches to contact.
- In or out on Zach Senyshyn making this roster? I think I'm out.
- Al Horford denies tampering.
- The Patriots' 53-man roster is going to be a fascinating puzzle this summer. Some brutal decisions coming.
