Bedard's Daily Briefing 02.28.19: Celtics lose again but ... it wasn't that bad? B's get to measure up to Lightning

Good morning!

A few random thoughts while I wonder if that snow that I just blew was real or the fake stuff #lookedfake

• So the Celtics lost again, but apparently we're supposed to feel better about this L because they tried really, really hard. Funny, I thought that's why they get paid.


• That was a great 3 attempt by Marcus Smart with the game on the line. Here's the video...

• The defense continues to be bad for stretches. Here's an example of that.

• Big game for the new-look Bruins tonight with the No. 1 team in the NHL coming to town in the Lightning. Don't confuse regular season games for a postseason series, but this is a good chance to measure up.


• Been a rough emotional stretch down at The Fort.


• The Revs are getting closer.


• Reason No. 293 why I write instead of talk for a living, here's old buddy Mike Giardi...
