Welcome to first and 10, a roundup of all the (mostly) Patriots-related news you need to start your Thursday. Grab your coffee and let’s get to it.
Going to jump right into things this morning, as we're working on a couple of stories I think you guys will like, as well as the weekly Q&A coming up later this afternoon.
Now, on with the links...
1. Bill Belichick and Nick Caserio didn't talk with the media Wednesday at the combine, but there was still plenty of Patriots-related chatter. Here are a few takeaways, as viewed through a New England prism.
2. Miguel's latest has the Patriots gaining a little more financial flexibility over the last day or so, thanks to a slight cap adjustment.
3. Quick reminder -- we've got a rare Thursday afternoon Q&A that kicks off at 1. Get your questions in now, because it's going to be epic.
4. Golden Tate told the ProStyle Podcast he'd love to play for the Patriots. I have no idea of the pending free agent is going around telling everyone he'd love to play for them, but if I'm New England, I'm on the phone with him as soon as the legal tampering window opens next month. “I would love it. I would love it,” Tate said of playing for New England. "That organization, they have proven to be champions year-in and year-out. They work hard for sure, but you know where you’re going to be at the end of the season: you’re going to be in the playoffs, but you’re looking at maybe a first-round bye with this team. You've got to admire that organization. They do things right, they’ve been doing it for a long, long, long time.”
