BSJ Daily Briefing 01.31.18: Tom vs. Time, Chapter 3 review taken at BSJ Headquarters (Regular Features)

(Chris Humphreys/USA TODAY Sports)

Good morning!

A few random thoughts while I wonder if you can name the three 98.5 The SportsHub employees in this picture (answers at the bottom):

And we're back with Tom vs. Time, Chapter 3, The Wilderness Strikes Back:

  • What the ....

  • Is Tom Brady secretly 80 years old?  A special BSJ investigation into his pill box...

  • Julian Edelman has impeccable comedic timing. He could be a sitcom star after football. I'm actually serious about this.

  • You broke my (bleeping) driver?!

  • The good news is, we won the Super Bowl. (laugh track)

  • There just happens to be an impeccable lined football field at The Yellowstone Club. I know where The Bedards are going on vacation this year! Hi Tom!

  • 'Sup ladies.

  • I love how Edelman gives it right back to The Warrior Spirit:

That was lazy. That don't win championships.

I'd like to see you (bleeping) out here running

  • Tell 'em Jules!

  • What I really want to know is who that is off camera backing up Tom's position and giving Edelman crap. That better be Danny Amendola and not somebody on the TB12 payroll.

  • I don't even want to know what's going here with The Talented Mr. Ripley:

  • Most people are eyeing naked Edelman. I'm here for the pizza and whether Brady ate a slice:

  • Edelman knows he messed up and intruded on special Alex and Tom time. Amendola had to avert his eyes too.

  • Guerrero says that's he's not anti-weight lifting (sure). Edelman says, basically that, unlike QB1, he actually needs strength to play football. Tom says, talk to the gun, the hand's not listening.

  • That's basically the highlights from this episode, which I thought was good but not as good Chapter 2 on the nerd scale.
