Good morning!
A few random thoughts while I contemplate what Tom v. Time will say about this week in Tom Brady history...
- Hope you're proud to be a BSJ subscriber every day — you're helping to bring a needed new voice to Boston sports — but you should be especially proud today, because I know I am. As you'll see in the links below, our staff killed it across the board.
- From Chris Price working his butt off with the Patriots this week and Dr. Jessica Flynn giving her always insightful analysis of Tom Brady's digit, to Joe McDonald (in Brooklyn) and Brian Robb (at the Garden) giving tremendous game coverage and columns, our little group did some tremendous work. So I hope you check it all out. Oh, and Sean McAdam caught us up on the Sox news before receiving the Dick O'Hara Award from the Boston Baseball Writers. A very good day in the short history of BSJ.
- As you'll see, the commenting feature is back to normal. That was not a planned change — I would tell you about a big change — and just a temporary glitch.
- If any of you have any vivid memories of Jo Jo White, I would love to read them and publish them this weekend. So email us at help@bostonsportsjournal.com.
- The Bruins continue to play terrific hockey, and it doesn't feel like they're headed for a letdown or playing over their head. This is shaping up to be a fun spring/summer on the ice.
- Only McDonald can get Bruins players to talk like Patrice Bergeron and Co. did after the win over the Islanders.
- The Celtics were brutal last night. And Brian Robb had a sensational look at the issues.
- Everyone can stop trying to do Bill Belichick-Nick Saban stories, because my old TheMMQB.com colleague, Jenny Vrentas, did the definitive look that will not be topped.
And away we go...
