Quite a Sunday at the BSJ. To begin, Greg and Chris were down in New Orleans to cover the Patriots quieting the doubters (for a week, anyway) against the Saints. Despite the dominating effort from the offense, there is still plenty to be concerned in the wake of the win. In fact, if you have any receiving experience, you might want to check in down in Foxboro this week with the way these injuries continue to pile up at skill positions. Between that and some noteworthy adjustments in playing time (Malcolm Butler and Alan Branch), the guys had plenty of interesting angles to cover down in the Bayou.
Meanwhile, we also had the return of David Price to the mound down at his old stomping grounds in Tampa. Sean had that covered at Tropicana Field, while Joe kept us updated on day three of Bruins training camp all day long on Sunday as well. Meanwhile, I'm just biding my time until Celtics training camp begins next Tuesday, so the least I could do was pitch in with this briefing. I have to earn my keep around here, right?
In any case, a ton for you subscribers to consume here from Sunday (plus Sunday notes from all four sports to catch up on if you missed it). Let's get to it.
