NEW ORLEANS — Sunday’s 36-20 win over the Saints came at a price for the Patriots, as an injury-riddled roster took more hits.
Rob Gronkowski was the biggest name to get dinged up, as the tight end went down in the second half of the game with what the team later termed a groin injury. Gronkowski left the game with just over three minutes left in the third quarter when he hauled in a 21-yard reception from Brady and was ridden to the ground by a pair of New Orleans defenders.
