Final: Ravens 37, Patriots 26 - Mac Jones injured in frustrating loss to Baltimore taken at Gillette Stadium (Patriots)

Adam Richins / BSJ

During multiple instances on Sunday afternoon at Gillette Stadium, the Patriots could smell blood in the water — with a slew of forced turnovers and stout showings from New England’s defensive corps routinely frustrating Lamar Jackson and Baltimore’s high-octane offense.

But multiple lapses in offensive execution doomed the Patriots in a very winnable contest — with Mac Jones picked off three times in what was an eventual 37-26 loss to the Ravens in New England’s home opener in Foxborough.

To add injury to insult, Jones was injured on his final play of the afternoon — needing help to get down the stairs to the locker room after Calais Campbell fell on his leg during a rush up the middle. Not good, to say the least.

More info to come.
