Even though the competition they faced throughout this winning streak hasn't been good, the Red Sox have taken complete advantage of their schedule and dominated their opponents. In their series with Colorado, the Red Sox scored double digit runs in every game while also seeing production from every bat in their lineup.
On the defensive side, the starting pitching has looked phenomenal. Giolito, Brayan Bello, and Richard Fitts all pitched quality starts giving Boston's bullpen much needed rest. Overall, this series gave the Red Sox the confidence they need heading into a competitive four-game series against the Tampa Bay Rays.
This series will start tomorrow at 7:10 p.m. with Walker Buehler getting the start on the mound.
