1. Don't expect to see many starters: Perhaps it's due to the extreme heat or other injury situations, but the way it was explained to me is that the Patriots are playing this like the old fourth preseason game — not many starters, if any.

2. Players battling for roster spots: The position where I see some movement possibly left —

RB: JJ Taylor, Pierre Strong, Kevin Harris, Ty Montgomery for one or two spots.
WR: Kayshon Boutte vs. Malik Cunningham for one spot.
TE: Matt Sokol vs. Anthony Firkser for possibly one spot.
OG: James Ferentz, Bill Murray, Kody Russey, Chasen Hines for up to one spot.
K: Chad Ryland vs. Nick Folk

5. Nick Folk auditioning for possible trade: The Titans have had huge kicker problems this preseason. They cut both Caleb Shudak and Trey Wolff and signed veteran Michael Badgley this week. Wouldn't put it past the Titans to look to trade for Folk. Hubbard, the OT, would be interesting but I would think the Patriots would prefer to pit the kicker-needy teams (Cowboys, 49ers, Browns, Titans are at the top of the list) to get the highest draft pick possible.
