The Bruins fall to the Carolina Hurricanes 4-1 at TD Garden on Tuesday night snapping a four-game winning streak.

KEY TAKEAWAYS:

  • The Bruins were sleeping all throughout the game.
  • Carolina outworked and out hustled Boston throughout the game.
  • The Hurricanes outshot the Bruins 15-6 in the second period alone.
  • Boston's  power play continues to struggle.
  • Even when the Bruins were on the PP they gave up a SHG.
  • Charlie McAvoy had the only goal for the Bruins tonight.
  • Not a good outing for Jeremy Swayman either.
  • Can't win every game and they were still coming off good wins over Florida and Nashville.

The Bruins will be back in action on Saturday night in Pittsburgh to face the Penguins at 8 p.m.
