Final: Celtics 103, Heat 85 - Tatum, C's, dominate second half
BOSTON CELTICS (37-16) at MIAMI HEAT (25-25)
Kaseya Center, 7:30 p.m. - NBC Sports Boston
Line: Celtics -4.5
INJURIES
Boston: Jrue Holiday (OUT, shoulder), Torrey Craig (OUT, ankle), Jaylen Brown (OUT, knee)
Miami: Tyler Herro (OUT, illness), Jaime Jaquez Jr. (OUT, illness), Dru Smith (OUT, Achilles),
THINGS I’M LOOKING FOR
1. Bam can have all the middies he wants: With the Heat a little shorthanded on the perimeter, the Celtics just need to stay home on the few guys who can hurt them (Andrew Wiggins, Duncan Robinson, for example) and if Adebayo wants to try to score 50, he is welcome to try.
2. Kristaps Porzingis, zone buster: If the Heat try to throw some zone at Boston, then they should go right to Porzingis in the middle and run cutters along the baseline. I actually like Boston’s chances better shorthanded because the remaining guys will gladly make those cuts. Tatum will try to shoot over the top of the zone, but another cutter on the floor can help do the job.
3. Playing faster: With Brown out, the Celtics can play a more uptempo game suited to Derrick White and Payton Pritchard when Tatum sits.
