Final: Kings 7, Bruins 2 - Swayman allows 7 goals in loss to Kings taken at BSJ Headquarters (Top Bruins)

(Alex Gallardo-USA TODAY Sports)

The Boston Bruins have lost six straight games as they fall to the Los Angeles Kings 7-2.

19 seconds into the game, the Bruins scored the first goal from Elias Lindholm, the quickest goal scored by a Bruin this year.

Following the goal, the Kings would take the lead scoring two goals putting the score at 2-1 going into the first intermission.

Early into the second period, Morgan Geekie tied the game for Boston.

However, the Kings would have another two goal period as Boston struggled to get the puck out of their zone.

Down two goals in the final period, Jeremy Swayman and the Bruins didn't make much of an attempt to get back into the game. The Kings went on to score their most goals in this period, ending the game with a final score of 7-2.

It was a bad game for Swayman and Boston's defense in this one. After a scrum in which Swayman wanted to drop the gloves with Kings goalie Darcy Kuemper, it seemed as if Boston's goalie lost his temper and got in his own head. While the defense in this game didn't benefit Swayman, allowing seven goals facing around 20 shots didn't help either. This west coast road trip for Boston hasn't been good, and this game made things even worse.

Next up for the Bruins on their schedule is the Anaheim Ducks who they will play this Wednesday. It'll be another late one, as the puck drop for the game will be at 10 p.m.
