BSJ Holiday Break Briefing 11.25.20: Revolution shock top seed; Pats podcast questions request; Hayward saga taken at BSJ Headquarters (Regular Features)

Good afternoon!

Your daily rundown of what's going on with the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and Revolution, and what's about to happen...

  • Nick Cattles and I are taping our 2nd podcast this morning so if you have any burning questions about anything, send them along quickly here.

  • Very impressive 2-0 win by the Revolution in Philly last night over the top-seeded Union. The Revs hadn't beaten the Union in nine games, and owned them recently. But give credit to Bruce Arena and the boys, it was a very Patriots-like upset.

  • Orlando City is up next, and who knows? With Carles Gil in the lineup, the Revolution can play with anyone. Without him, they can lose to anyone.

  • Looking forward to what reading what Tom Benedetto has to say about what happened.

  • At least there one postseason winner playing out of Gillette Stadium in the past calendar year.

  • That was about as bad a Patriots defensive plan as I've ever seen. They basically just rolled over.

  • Is Gordon Hayward's transaction ever going to get done?

  • What about Blake Snell for the Red Sox?

  • Jake DeBrusk in focus.

  • College basketball is back tonight.
