PROS & CONS: 3 things to like, 3 things to question on the Patriots' top six draft picks taken at BSJ Headquarters (NFL DRAFT COVERAGE)

(Getty Images)

Going over three promising traits for the Patriots' top six selections, and three factors that could be problem areas for the rookies.

KYLE DUGGER, DB, LENOIR-RHYNE

Pro1: Really tough and physical player. Doesn't back down from anything. Good attitude for the position. Showed really well at the Senior Bowl against better competition.

Pro2: Physically, he has everything you want. Good speed (4.49), great vertical (42 inches), long arms and big hands.

Pro3: Should get an immediate chance to impact kick returns. Averaged 17.2 yards per punt return with two touchdowns. Also averaged 20.0 average on kick returns.

Con1: Patriots already have four experienced players at safety in Devin McCourty, Patrick Chung, Adrian Phillips and Terrence Brooks. Could be groomed to be Chung's successor. That type of player.

Con2: For a collision position, he has an injury history with a torn meniscus (usually leads to arthritis at some point ... normally years down the line), and a hand injury. Only played seven games last season.

Con3: Obviously his exposure to good competition is extremely limited.
