BSJ Daily Briefing 02.18.20: Red Sox owners continue to look worse, How Patriots-Brady conversation should happen

A few random thoughts while I wonder if the Red Sox owners actually believe their crap...

• Sean McAdam told the truth about the Red Sox ownership ... they just keep tripping up.


• Sean was there to roast them with their own, contradictory words. They knew this was coming, yet they still kept spending like drunken sailors on injury-prone pitchers.


• They just should have taken the World Series title and banked it. Cut payroll a little last year, invested this year.


• JD Martinez is worried about not having access to video ... how about you hit the old fashioned way off memory and use video after the game.


• There's a way forward together for Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and the Krafts — if they want it — and this is how that conversation should go. Includes some intel on Brady, and some honesty from Belichick.


• Possible Bruins trade targets keep getting snatched up ... what up Don Sweeney.
