LIVE GAME UPDATES

That will do it. Patriots improve to 8-0. Bill Belichick gets win No. 300 overall. Good overall game from the team.

Fourth quarter

Browns make it somewhat interesting with a FG with 2:33 left. Patriots 27-13

Missed another field goal, this one wide left from 34 yards.

Big 19-yard reception by Sanu on a big drive for the Patriots. Can ice the game here. Patriots don't finish off the drive, but it was good enough for a three-score lead with 7:43 left. PATRIOTS 27-10.

Third quarter

Browns go right through the Patriots' defense, mostly on the ground, but stall in the red zone. PATRIOTS 17, BROWNS 10.

Browns play awful defense, give up a 59-yard screen pass on 3rd and 10.

Great play by Brady avoiding the rush and finding Edelman for a big touchdown. PATRIOTS 24, BROWNS 10.

Second quarter

Browns score rather easily as Hightower ends up in man coverage against TE Demetrius Harris. PATRIOTS 17, BROWNS 7.

Some real clunky offense on both sides leads to a Patriots FG getting blocked with 2:28 left in the half.

Similar to other games, the offense is productive early and then has issues.

First quarter

James Ferentz at RG for Mason. Good opening run for 11 yards and then a stall with 1-yard run, Sanu is crunched and Brady under pressure on third down.

Browns don't to anything on opening possession.

Big 3rd and 6 throw to Dorsett for 33 yards.

4th and 7 conversion to Edelman at the Browns' 23.

Brady nearly throws another red-zone INT. Patriots settle for a FG. PATRIOTS 3, BROWNS 0.

Guy and Van Noy combine to stuff Chubb, Guy forces the fumble, Hightower scoop and score. PATRIOTS 10, BROWNS 0.

LINEUP UPDATES

Patriots inactives: RG Shaq Mason, DT Byron Cowart, RB Damien Harris, CB Joejuan Williams, TE Ryan Izzo, TE Matt LaCosse.

Mason is the only mild surprise. Ferentz or Elumunor will start at RG. A tough chore with Sheldon Richardson out there. Not that Mason was playing well
