A few random thoughts while I wonder how much overtime Alex Guerrero is getting for Tom Brady's calf...
- Patriots are in the middle of preparation for the Jets and the latest contestant on QB Idol ... Luke Falk.
- Tom Brady was among those limited at practice.
- I took a look at probably the only area of the Patriots not functioning at a high level: the running game. It's been really, really inconsistent. No, I don't think much has to do with Sony Michel. It starts with execution and Shaq Mason.
- Is Gordon Hayward going to start or come off the bench?
- Brandon Carlo's going to be a steal for the Bruins
- What a disappointing end to the season for the Red Sox' rotation
