Good morning!
A few random thoughts while I wonder if the Brian Flores Dolphins will be worse than the Cam Cameron Dolphins...
- So all the drama around the Patriots continues to be around Antonio Brown ... and I'm not sure how much needs to be said if there aren't any more allegations.
- Like I said earlier in the week, I didn't expect much to change with him this week, and he continues to practice.
- I expect Brown to play against the Dolphins in a somewhat limited role. I think he'll have a package of plays — a few at or behind the line of scrimmage, a few short routes like drags and hitches, and a few shot plays. The more the Patriots lead, the more he'll be able to get his feet wet.
- Predicted stat line: 4 touches, 55 yards, 1 TD. Maybe a punt return or two.
- As for his expanded role and how he will mesh with Tom Brady and the offense? I took a look at the 30 interceptions thrown his way the past four seasons and the results are interesting. He'll definitely need to be more precise to be a workhorse in this offense, but some of the concerns of his freelancing are a little exaggerated.
- Smart column by Sean McAdam. Can the Red Sox please get a GM that knows how to identify and develop young pitching talent?
- Your 2019-20 Bruins hit the ice for the first time today.
- Big match in Orlando for the Kicking Krafts.
