Good morning!
A few random thoughts while I wonder if CNN has more important things to cover...
- The Bruins are opening up training camp today (first practice is Friday), and Bruce Cassidy deservedly has a contract extension in hand.
- Butch is going to have to push a lot of right buttons this season after the Game 7 loss. Long way to climb that mountain again.
- Conor has a ton of great content, including 7 things to watch in camp.
- Obviously the Antonio Brown situation still is at the top of the news. It's hard for the team to make much of a decision without much concrete information. I don't blame them for having him on the practice field.
- Everybody knew this guy wasn't a boy scout. A lawsuit without much evidence (for now) wouldn't really change their opinion overnight.
- But it's interesting it's being reported the Patriots haven't paid Brown a dime yet, and Monday is kind of the point of no return on that front.
- Man, the Red Sox stink.
- At least we have a GM search to look forward to!
