Good morning!
A few random thoughts while I wonder if wins against the Orioles should count for anything...
- Patriots will be back at Gillette to start a short week of prep for the Panthers. Patriots will be home until the middle of September now.
- Solid victory over the Titans. We broke down Isaiah Wynn's debut and it was mostly good.
- Defensive breakdown leading with Chase Winovich (again) is here. Have some concerns about Mike Pennel, Deatrich Wise and some others.
- Offense is coming today.
- Goodbye Dontrelle Inman ... delayed start for Josh Gordon.
- Red Sox have won five straight after sweeping the Orioles. They're still 6.5 back of the second wild-card spot.
- Red Sox are pretty much going to have to grind out wins from here on out.
- Of course, Chris Sale is getting his usual late-season rest — and a visit to Dr. James Andrews. That's always great.
