Live Coverage: Final camp practice at Gillette - Danny Etling waived taken at Gillette Stadium (Patriots)

FOXBOROUGH — The Patriots have started to hit the practice field for the final time at Gillette Stadium. Looks to be a lighter affair, as the players are in shorts and shells ahead of the two joint practices with the Titans starting Wednesday in Nashville.

We'll bring the highlights:

  • New TE Eric Saubert isn't listed on the roster provided to the media, but he appears to be on the field and wearing No. 48. He's tall and lanky.

  • Overcast skies, so that's keeping the temps down. It's very humid ahead of the rain.

  • Demaryius Thomas, Cam Meredith and Julian Edelman are here but not in uniform.

  • No Danny Etling yet ... he could have been the roster move for Saubert.

  • Don't see N'Keal Harry (leg) or Matt LaCosse (ankle).

  • Danny Etling has been released.

  • Patriots did the annual rookie fumble recoveries in the mud, with Tom Brady wielding the firehose. Rookie coaches included. Mayo had to do it twice. Troy Brown got the biggest laughs as he slipped on his pass.

  • Isaiah Wynn is going through the walkthroughs. That's a good sign that his body reacted well to the increased contact on Monday.

  • Lance Kendricks is no longer wearing a red jersey.

  • Jonathan Jones opened practice as a starting safety. Interesting.
