Good morning!
- The Red Sox finally put an end to their longest losing streak since 2015 on Monday night and some decent starting pitching got the job done on that front thanks to Rick Porcello (six innings, one earned run). A couple of losses by the Rays and A's pulled the Sox all the way back to 4.5 games out of the second wildcard spot. A lot of baseball left to be played but this group has a lot of work to do.
- Meanwhile, the Patriots will be back at work on Tuesday in what probably should be a tougher session than Monday's joint practice with the Lions. Greg has you covered with all the takeaways from Day 1, including a WR depth chart that should be intriguing to watch as the preseason continues.
- Tom Brady was heard on his contract situation and Greg breaks it all down here.
- The Celtics...err Team USA got to work in Las Vegas with 25 percent of the training camp roster made up of C's. Will be fascinating to see who ends up making the 12-man final roster besides Kemba.
