Good afternoon!
A few random thoughts while I wonder if Brad Stevens is feeling the heat from Summer League coach Scott Morrison...
- The Celtics' summer league team won again last night to finish the regular season 4-0 and grab the top seed for the playoffs, which start on Saturday.
- This team has been a hell of a lot of fun to watch and have sort of helped to clean the palette from the garbage we were fed for most of last season. Just kids having fun, playing with energy and winning games. And the young talent looks pretty good.
- I'm glad Jaylen Brown hasn't heard from the Celtics on an extension. Not that he's been bad or anything, but go play for that contract.
- Ooohhhh yeeeahhhh ... offensive line talk. Rub me in butter ...
- Dodgers are ruling the world, Red Sox not so much. But I'm expecting the real Red Sox to start to show up. Watch them sweep the Dodgers.
- Danton Heinen is back ... I know we're all excited.
- Your red-hot Revolution are back on the pitch.
