A few random thoughts while I wonder what the exchange rate is on the Red Sox' title last year in London because the Sox are still trying to live off it...
- Sean McAdam has really sobering numbers on the Red Sox to this point, and not much has to do with the bullpen.
- And Sean makes some good points on why Mookie Betts may be struggling.
- I know he deserved the MVP last season, but hasn't Betts been sort of mediocre since the start of the postseason?
- Sox really need their studs — Betts, J.D. Martinez and Chris Sale — to play to their contracts the rest of the way.
- I'm not one to complain about all-star voting but I'll just say one thing ... has there been a more impressive young athlete in this town than Xander Bogaerts? He's becoming the heart of that team, and I'm just fine with that.
- B-Robb keeps killing it with the Kemba Walker analysis. Nobody's better.
