- The Bruins are set to receive some reinforcements in a crucial Game 4, as both Marcus Johansson and John Moore will be game-time decisions for Wednesday’s matchup. Johansson, who missed Games 2 and 3 due to illness, practiced on Tuesday while skating on a third line with Charlie Coyle and Danton Heinen, while Moore skated on the B’s bottom D pairing alongside Matt Grzelcyk. Moore last played back on March 25 against the Lightning, exiting the game with an upper-body injury after getting knocked into the boards. If Johansson and Moore are both given the green light, Steven Kampfer and Karson Kuhlman will be the likely scratches.
- "If they feel good, they'll go in. They are trending well," Cassidy said of Moore and Johansson. "(Johansson) has been under the weather, so he has to have his energy level to be able to help us. John's been skating a lot, but now he's at the point where he's able to play. I don't anticipate there being any issue there."
- The Bruins are going to need the Bergeron line to break through, as the trio have only generated six combined points and zero 5v5 goals while all out on the ice together so far this series. For now, it looks as though Cassidy will stick with the trio, but a break-up could be on the table if their offensive production continues to lag.
- While the Bruins have cashed in on three of their nine chances on the power play so far this series, they also struggled on special teams during Monday’s one-goal loss — landing just one shot on goal in 5:37 of 5v4 TOI while also relinquishing a pair of goals on the PK.
