LIVE COVERAGE:
9:45: Bruins beat the Blue Jackets, 6-2. Boston is just one point away from clinching home ice. A Toronto loss tonight (losing 2-1 to Carolina right now) will do it for Boston.
9:28: Fitting result for Karson Kuhlman, who buries the rebound to make it a 6-2 game. Make that 8 5v5 goals scored by the DeBrusk-Krejci-Kuhlman line in a little over 70 minutes of TOI together. This trio has something brewing.
9:24: Duchene scores. 5-2 game. McAvoy out of the box.
9:21: McAvoy off for a high stick. 4 minutes of power play time for the Blue Jackets.
9:19: Jackets score on the power play. 5-1 game.
9:13: Marchand off for interference.
9:11: Brad Marchand gets a helper — and he hits 100 points on the season.
9:08: David Pastrnak scores 34 seconds into the third. 5-0 Bruins.
9:06: Third period underway.
8:49: End Second: Bruins take a 4-0 lead over the Blue Jackets. Meanwhile, Toronto is trailing Carolina, 2-0.
8:44: And DeBrusk follows just 48 seconds later. 4-0 Bruins.

- There’s plenty on the line for both teams tonight, as a Columbus win and a Canadiens regulation loss would officially clinch a playoff spot for the Blue Jackets. Meanwhile, a single point for the Bruins and a loss for the Maple Leafs tonight against the Hurricanes would clinch home ice for Boston in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
- While the Bruins have now dropped two straight games, the Jackets are red-hot — with Columbus in the midst of a five-game win streak. The Blue Jackets bested the Bruins, 7-4, during Boston’s last visit to Nationwide Arena on March 12.
- After missing Sunday’s game against the Red Wings due to injury, Chris Wagner will return to the lineup on Tuesday. Danton Heinen, who is battling an illness, will be the odd man out up front.
- The Bruins will have a tall task against Columbus goalie Sergei Bobrovsky, who is 5-0-0 with a 0.80 goals-against average, .971 save percentage and three shutouts in his past five starts.
