- The Bruins will look to rebound from Saturday’s disappointing loss to the Panthers against a Red Wings team that, despite sitting near the bottom of the Eastern Conference, have won four in a row and six of its last seven games.
- While Detroit has been decimated with injuries this season, both Dylan Larkin and Andreas Athanasiou have reached the 30-goal mark this season with the Red Wings. Still, Detroit ranks 22nd in the NHL in goals per game at 2.72.
- Kevan Miller is set to return to the lineup after being sidelined since Feb. 23 due to an upper-body injury. With Miller cleared to play, Connor Clifton will be scratched on the blue line, while David Pastrnak will return to the top line with Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand. There is a chance for more lineup shuffling ahead of puck drop, as a number of Bruins players are dealing with illness.
