Patriots punter Ryan Allen has re-upped with the team, signing a one-year deal to return to New England.
Less than 12 hours after we were curious about the Patriots ability to sign their own specialists, Allen's deal was revealed. The 6-foot-2, 220-pounder out of Louisiana Tech has spent six seasons with New England, and has a career average of 45.3 yards per punt. The 29-year-old, who switched representation this offseason, which may have played a role in the holdup.
