First and 10: Why Drew Rosenhaus could have a sizable impact on Patriots' offseason fortunes taken at BSJ Headquarters (Patriots)

(Adam Richins/Boston Sports Journal)

Welcome to first and 10, a roundup of all the (mostly) Patriots-related news you need to start your Wednesday. Grab your coffee and let’s get to it.

A few quick thoughts to get your morning started...

--Drew Rosenhaus has a real chance to shape the Patriots' offseason -- he's the agent for Rob Gronkowski, Trent Brown and Dwayne Allen. (Not to mention any potential free-agent targets or draft prospects who might be repped by Rosenhaus who could intrigue New England.) We all know Gronkowski's situation, but Brown could hit the free-agent market next month, while it's believed Allen would need to have his current deal re-done if he wants to return in 2019.

--For the record, I still believe Gronkowski returns for 2019.

--One guy who could be a part of the conversation at tackle in 2019 could be Ulrick John. The offensive lineman, who sustained a season-ending injury last August, was coming on last summer as a possible backup tackle before his injury. According to a league source, his rehab has gone well, and he's hoping to return to New England in 2019.
