12:40: Too many men for Boston. 2:46 left in OT.

12:27: Marchand and Karlsson trade shots off the post.

12:25: Bruins very much look like a team in the middle of its fourth straight road game, with this standing as another matchup against a heavy Vegas club.

12:09: Two goals just 27 seconds part has this game tied once again. Marchand buries a one-time, but Schmidt answers right after.

12:06: Third period underway.

11:47: End Second: Bruins and Golden Knights are still tied, 1-1. Vegas PK has been fantastic, while Boston only has 14 total shots on goal.

11:42: Boston now 0-for-3 on the power play.

11:35: Bruins back on the power play. McNabb with a hold on Wagner. Vegas PK has been strong early with a 2-2 showing.

11:24: Golden Knights head off for too many men, but they kill off the penalty.

11:18: Halak stops Wild Bill Karlsson a breakaway. Still a 1-1 game.

11:10: Second period is underway.

10:54: End First: Bruins and Golden Knights are tied up, 1-1.

10:43: Heinen is off for a trip.

10:41: Great sequence from the second line. Kuhlman absorbs a hit and keeps play alive, Krejci feeds the puck to DeBrusk, who spins and fires. 5th goal in 5 games for DeBrusk. 1-0 Bruins.

10:24: Schmidt called for a high stick on Marchand. Bruins to the power play.

PREGAME NOTES

  • Boston will look to keep it rolling after besting the Sharks in a wild overtime win on Monday night. Boston has now won six in a row and have taken points in 11 straight matchups.

  • The only change in the B’s lineup will be Jaroslav Halak in net, with the goalie looking to make it three wins a row. In his last three outings, Halak has posted a shutout and a save percentage of .962. Peter Cehlarik will remain out for the second game in a row due to a lower-body injury, while Karson Kuhlman will remain up on the second line with David Krejci and Jake DeBrusk.

  • Vegas has a comfortable lead for third place in the Pacific Division with a nine-point cushion ahead of the Arizona Coyotes and Vancouver Canucks, but the Golden Knights are stuck in a slump with a 3-7-0 record in their last 10 outings.

  • Marc-Andre Fleury will get the start in net tonight for Vegas. With a win, he’ll be the first goalie this season to reach 30 wins, but he has lost his last three starts while posting an ugly 4.75 goals-against average and .861 save percentage.
