The Revolution have arrived in Bradenton, Fla. for the second leg of the preseason, where the Original Ten club is expected to play five matches while in the Sunshine State, starting with Thursday afternoon’s US Open Cup rematch against Louisville City FC of the USL Championship.
The club trained at Gillette Stadium Monday prior to making the flight to Florida.
In addition to Thursday’s matchup, the Revs will play Minnesota United on Saturday (4:30 p.m.), Orlando City SC next Wednesday night (7:30 p.m.), the Greenville Triumph SC of USL League One next Thursday (4 p.m.), and KR Reykjavik Saturday (3 p.m.).
It is unknown if there will be streaming of these matches.
Kickoff for the 2019 season is 18 days away, when New England takes on FC Dallas on Saturday, Mar. 2.
The club had returned from Marbella, Spain on Friday following a 1-1-2 swing on the Costa del Sol.
Revolution manager Brad Friedel was one of seven players inducted into the inaugural Blackburn Rovers Hall of Fame last Thursday.
