- No expected lineup changes for the Bruins on Monday, with Tuukka Rask set to make yet another start. Over his last five games, Rask is 5-0-0 with a .955 save percentage. Against Montreal in his career, Rask is 11-16-3 with a .918 save percentage.
- The Bruins will don their 2019 Winter Classic jerseys for their matchup with the Habs, which stands as the final regular-season matchup between the Original Six rivals this season.
- After dropping a 3-0 contest at TD Garden earlier this season, Boston won each of its next two contests against the Habs up at the Bell Centre to take a 2-1 edge in the series.
- After a 3-0 win over the Avalanche on Saturday, Montreal moves back into playoff positioning with the second Wild Card spot with 53 points. The Bruins remain in third place in the Atlantic with 56 points on the year.
