The Revs have three of their five picks at their disposal today: 9, 11, and 33. Picks 57 and 81 in the third and fourth rounds will be decided via league conference call.

A couple of notes headed in:

Last Wednesday, Philadelphia traded its entire draft -- five picks -- to FC Cincinnati. New Union sporting director Ernst Tanner doesn't believe there is anyone worth taking. Meanwhile, FCC manager Alan Koch thinks otherwise. The Blue and Orange now have six picks in the Top 30.

We're expecting to jump on a conference call with Revolution manager Brad Friedel to talk about the club's picks at about 3:15 p.m., but we might have to be flexible with that. If we disappear around that time, you know where we'll be. UPDATE: Hearing from RevComm that might be at about 2:30 p.m. ET. We'll see.

12:54 p.m.: The Washington Post's Steven Goff just tweeted that AEG will allow LA Galaxy to buy out -- if necessary -- Gio Dos Santos' DP contract by the start of the season in order to comply with the No-More-Than-Three-DPs rule.

1:00 p.m. -- MLS's Andrew Weibe opens the broadcast noting that FC Cincinnati's No. 1 pick and Chicago's No. 5 pick may be on the move. Stand by.

1:16 p.m. -- FC Cincinnati is on the clock, and we're underway. It has four minutes to make its selection; it can take one four-minute time out... and it does.

1:24 p.m. -- FC Cincinnati picks from UCLA/Generation Adidas, midfielder Frankie Amaya. Amaya did not participate in the Combine; he played in the U20s up the road the day before, and met with FCC's brass that day.

1:29 p.m. -- San Jose picks Manchester, N.H.'s Siad Haji. My breakdown on Haji: "Haji can be a No. 10 or play out on the right wing. He has solid movement with the ball in space and creates space with his first touch; we like his high skill ability and his precision passing, much like he showed Saturday when he found Buchanan. His passes are heads-up, looking for the open man."

1:35 -- Orlando City picks its Academy product, Santiago Patino, F, Florida International. My breakdown on Patino: "He’s a big dude with big power in his legs, but there are questions about his consistency. I noticed his athleticism while watching film, loved his aggressive play in attack as well as solid defending. I think he’s your typical poacher, with tons of upside. We learned Saturday that he was in Orlando City’s Academy, but couldn’t come to a Homegrown deal (at least not yet). Patino had a nice assist Saturday, a right-footer right into space; he also displayed good hold-up play. We think he can be a steal for a team that has patience to further develop him."

1:40 -- FC Dallas picks UNC-Charlotte defender Callum Montgomery.

1:44 -- ***TRADE*** Chicago trades the 5th pick to Colorado in exchange for the 15th overall pick and $100,000 in allocation. Colorado select Andre Shinyashiki, F, University of Denver. Solid piece of business for the Rapids. My breakdown: "The Brazilian scored 28 goals for Denver this past fall, by far the most of any of the potential draftees. Of all the video I watched, Shinyashiki communicated the most, dances into the box with ease, and is quite possibly the best in 1-v-1 situations."

1:49 -- Toronto FC picks Griffin Dorsey, M, Indiana University/Generation Adidas.

1:54 -- Minnesota United taking a time out.

1:57 -- Minnesota United picks Dayne St. Clair, GK, Maryland/Generation Adidas.

2:02 -- Houston taking a time out.

2:07 -- Houston picks Sam Junqua, D, Cal-Berkeley. My breakdown: "I have him as playing either center back or defensive midfield. He uses both feet well, has good skill on the ball, as well as solid anticipation of where the ball is going."

2:10 -- The Revolution select Tajon Buchanan, F, Syracuse/Generation Adidas. My breakdown: "Buchanan is described as a flashy player and a playmaker. He’s solid in 1-v-1 situations, and just makes things happen. We didn’t get to see much of him with the ball on Saturday. At 20, he’s pretty polished."

2:14 -- FC Dallas picks John Nelson, D, UNC/Generation Adidas. The Burn going with defenders in this first round -- and both are defenders I ranked high in my breakdowns. Revs on the clock.

2:18 -- The Revolution select DeJuan Jones, M, Michigan State. My breakdown: "Jones scored the opener Saturday. He has a lot of the things you want up top: pace, skill, power, vision, athleticism. We saw solid defending in film, cracking back to dispossess. Jones can also play out on the wing." I also said this on Wednesday about Jones: "Some clubs may rate him as a right back, but he showed good pace off the ball, and also showed just how well he can read the game. Amir Bashti had a pass into space that no one in a black jersey went for. Jones swooped in, had a nice run — and a nice go from distance that blasted over."

2:23 -- LA Galaxy take a time out.

2:27 -- ***TRADE*** Galaxy trade 12th pick to NYCFC for 19th pick and $75,000 of GAM. NYCFC select Luis Barazza, GK, Marquette. Really good pick-up for the Bronx Blues.

2:32 -- FC Cincinnati picks Logan Gdula, D, Wake Forest/East Lyme, Conn. My breakdown: "He impressed with positive touches as well as a goal on Saturday. Playing left back, Gdula stepped up into space and buried a chance from distance."

2:37 -- DC United takes a time out.

2:40 -- DC United picks Akeem Ward, D, Creighton. Really solid pick-up for the Black and Red. My breakdown: "He hustled all over the place and was rather consistent the whole time. Ward didn’t have film available, but he can play either right or left back."

2:47 -- We're jumping into the conference call with Brad Friedel. We'll be back.

3:01 -- We're out of the conference call. Three picks made, with two trades: Chicago trades No. 15 to Minnesota United and the Loons pick Chase Gasper, and the Red Bulls trade with Cincinnati to pick Roy Boateng. And Harvard's Sam Brown, a defensive midfielder, goes to Real Salt Lake.

3:06 -- Columbus picks JJ Williams, F, Kentucky/Generation Adidas. Last GA goes off the board.

3:09 -- LA Galaxy picks Emil Cuello, M, Southern Methodist.

3:13 -- Seattle picks Tucker Bone, M, Air Force Academy. Gritty player headed to the Wild Teal Yonder of Cascadia. And he arrives on the dais in his Class A's.

3:17 p.m. -- Sporting Kansas City selects Kamar Marriott, D, Florida Gulf Coast. I have no idea who he is. He wasn't at the Combine. SKC went out and scouted him themselves.

3:23 -- Red Bulls select Janos Loebe, F, Fordham. Quick drive over from that campus to RBA.

3:25 -- Portland selects Ryan Sierakowski, F, Michigan State. My breakdown: "He didn’t score Saturday, but he had several opportunities to do so. What I liked about him in film is his aggressive manner in the attacking third. He’s got some power behind his shot, and he can score with both feet. He also has a great first touch."

3:29 -- Atlanta United makes Anderson Asiedu, M, UCLA the 24th and final pick of the first round. The rich get richer. My breakdown: "Despite standing 5-foot-6, Asiedu received a lot of praise during the Combine game Saturday. He has a motor, is solid in defending and with his dispossession skills, a strong right, a great burst of pace. He also makes things happen, and has some escapability under pressure. He’s also an international player, so we’ll see who wants to spend a precious slot on a hard worker."

3:42 -- The second round is underway, and the Red Bulls -- who traded for the 25th overall pick -- select Sean Nealis, D, Hofstra.

3:45 -- San Jose picks Sergio Rivas, M, Seattle University. Really good value here for the Quakes. My breakdown: "We liked what we saw out of Rivas. He’s got a motor who uses neat finishes in scoring. He has power in his right, along with solid skill." He'll take an international slot.

3:48 -- Orlando City picks Kamal Miller, D, Syracuse. My breakdown: "The 6-foot-1 left back/left center back has really good positioning, makes smart tackles, and is aggressive to get into the right positions."

3:52 -- Colorado picks Marcelo Borges, D, Michigan.

3:57 -- FC Cincinnati picks Tommy McCabe, M, Notre Dame.

3:59 -- Former Revs center back Claude Dielna, who expressed a desire to leave in October and subsequently had his option declined, may be headed to Portland for a one-year deal. We're hearing it's a trade.... MLSSoccer.com's Sam Stesjkal says it's for $100,000 in GAM.

4:01 -- FC Cincinnati picks Jimmy Hague, GK, Michigan State.

4:04 -- Minnesota United picks Hassani Dotson, M, Oregon State.

4:10 -- Chicago takes a time out. It's our first time out in a while. The Fire needs defensive help.

4:16 -- ***TRADE*** Chicago trades the pick to the Red Bulls in exchange for the rights to a player to be named later. Red Bulls select Rece Buckmaster, D, Indiana.

4:20 -- ***TRADE*** The Revolution have traded the ninth selection/33rd overall and the Revs' third- and fourth-round selections in the 2020 SuperDraft to DC United in exchange for the Black and Red's second-round pick in 2020. And then, DC traded the ninth/33 to Houston for a player to be named later. Houston then selected Andrew Samuels, D, Maryland. UPDATE: BlackAndRedUnited.com reports that the player to be named is goalkeeper Chris Seitz.

4:25 -- Montreal picks Amar Sejdic, M, Maryland.

4:28 -- Vancouver picks Brendan McDonough, D, Georgetown.

4:30 -- LA Galaxy pick Don Tchilao, M, Oregon State. Great value for Galaxy.

4:32 -- FC Cincinnati pick Ben Lundt, GK, Akron. HUGE value for the Blue and Orange. My breakdown on Lundt: "We’ve said tall German the last couple of days, but Lundt… wowsa. At 6-foot-6, Lundt has superior length, he reads the attack well, has superb reflexes (when he makes a diving save, he is back on his feet within heartbeats), and can punt about 60 yards."

4:36 -- Orlando City picks Tommy Madden, M, UNC-Charlotte.

4:38 -- Toronto FC picks Adam Wilson, M, Louisville.

4:41 -- LAFC picks Peter-Lee Vassell, M, Harbour View FC of Jamaica. He'll be on loan for a year with LAFC with an option to buy.

4:43 -- Real Salt Lake picks Kyle Coffee, F, Washington.

4:47 -- Colorado picks Jacob Hauser-Ramsey, D, Connecticut.

4:51 -- NYCFC picks Abdi Mohammed, D, Akron

4:53 -- Seattle picks Joel Rydstrand, M, Creighton

4:55 -- Sporting Kansas City picks Camden Riley, M, University of the Pacific

4:58 -- San Jose picks Mamadi Camara, M, Simon Fraser University

5:01 -- Portland picks Lennart Hein, D, Saint Louis. Solid value for the Timbers.

5:05 -- Atlanta United picks Amir Bashti, M, Stanford. Incredible value for the Five Stripes. My breakdown on Bashti: "The lone Cardinal in the Combine is a late bloomer, having laid in the weeds the last two seasons. He scored twice Saturday, one which coming off a vertical 50-50 ball that he headed into space, chased down and recovered, took a few touches, and buried in the net. By all accounts, Bashti is a magician on the ball; he has good vision, confidence, and athleticism. His work on the ball is solid and tight, and can hold up play with the best. We like his composure and his power. Someone in MLS is going to get considerable value when they pick Bashti."
