The Boston Bruins will look to carry some momentum over from the Winter Classic  when they host the Calgary Flames at TD Garden on Thursday. Puck drop is set for 7:00 today. Follow along for updates from Thursday’s game.

PREGAME NOTES


Back in third place in the Atlantic Division following Tuesday’s win over the Blackhawks at the Winter Classic, Boston will look to carry the momentum over against the Flames, who sit on top of the Western Conference with a 25-12-4 record (54 points) this season.


Joakim Nordstrom
will be out at least three weeks due to a non-displaced fibula fracture that he suffered during the Winter Classic. With Nordstrom out and
David Backes
still serving his suspension,
Ryan Donato
will slot back into the lineup on Thursday, skating on the second line with
David Krejci
and
Jake DeBrusk.
The fourth line of
Sean Kuraly, Noel Acciari

Chris Wagner
will be reunited as well, while

As expected,
Johnny Gaudreau
has led the way up front with the Flames this season, tallying 59 points through 41 games this season. The BC product has been on a tear as of late, posting eight points over his last two games.
