The Celtics frontline took another hit to its depth chart on Wednesday night as Aron Baynes suffered a broken bone in his left hand, according to a report from Shams Charania of the Athletic. The injury will keep him sidelined for at least a month.
Baynes left the game against the Suns after just two minutes of action and appeared to suffer the injury while attempting to go for a steal against DeAndre Ayton.
The 32-year-old immediately headed to the locker room after the next stoppage and was ruled out for the game quickly by the team.
Much more analysis on the implications of the injury in the coming hours, but the C's front line is suddenly pretty shorthanded with Al Horford (knee), Marcus Morris (knee) and Guerschon Yabusele (ankle) all dealing with various ailments.
