All right, everyone. Let's dive into this week's questions:

Question: Can you please compare the Patriots to these numbers?

Answer: Please note both sets of my numbers include the 12 Patriots on Injured Reserve and NFI. I'm classifying Matthew Slater as a wide receiver, Nate Ebner as a safety, and Brandon King as a linebacker in order to have an oranges to oranges comparison with Jason's numbers.

Answer:

  • Cordarrelle Patterson - Patterson is my current prediction for the Patriot to get extended before the end of the regular season. Why? He excels at being a kickoff returner and his value to a team is probably with the Patriots who continues to value special teams' play.

  • Stephen Gostkowski - Could see Gostowski agreeing to a deal that makes him a Patriot for life.

  • Ryan Allen

  • James Ferentz

  • Albert McClellan

  • Ramon Humber

  • John Simon

  • LaAdrian Waddle

  • Phillip Dorsett

  • Trent Brown - Can't see the Patriots making Brown an offer that would make him forego becoming a free agent.

  • Josh Gordon

  • Jonathan Jones

  • Danny Shelton

  • Malcom Brown

  • Chris Hogan - His lack of targets has hurt his market value.

  • Jason McCourty - Think that Jason waits to see what happens with Devin during the offseason.

  • Brian Schwenke - Can't recall the Patriots ever extending a player who was on IR. (The same is the case for the following four players -- Matt Tobin, Ulrick John, Eric Rowe and Jeremy Hill.)

  • Cody Hollister - He is going to be an ERFA, so he has to accept the Patriots tender in order to play in 2019.

  • Trey Flowers - His value to other teams may be dramatically more than it is to the Patriots.
