BSJ Daily Briefing 11.13.18: Patriots start needed bye week, C's need to wake up, Tuukka watch

Good morning!

A few random thoughts while I wrap my head around what a long two weeks this is going to be for the Patriots and their fans. They should just turn off the radio and TV right now...

• Still going over the film from Sunday. I'll have lots more to say later and on F&M.

• One thing that I thought was weird from Sunday ... Tom Brady's demeanor in his press conference. Isn't he usually ticked off after those types of games? Strange.

• Speaking of teams floundering ... the Celtics are entering their first real stretch of self-inflicted adversity under Brad Stevens. What they've done to this point is inexcusable. Stevens has had a pretty nice run to this point. Now the pressure is on.

• Stevens is going to need to do something to wake Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown up. Now, the Celtics don't revolve around them.

• If Kyrie Irving is waiting for some vet to show up to lead this team ... Mr. Supermax next year is supposed to be that guy.

• As Tuukka turns ... does he return to the team today? Hopefully everything is OK on the homefront. The Bruins need him back and focused.
