Good morning!
A few random thoughts while I wonder what the over/under was for "marital aids" thrown on the field before last night's game. Have to love #BillsMafia...
- So the Patriots grinded out a win last night in upstate New York, 25-6 over the Bills. Nothing fancy, just a business man's special. The offense did just enough. The defense had a couple big plays from Kyle Van Noy and Devin McCourty, and the Bills' offense with ancient Derek Anderson at the helm is totally inept.
- If you're wondering why the offense has been scuffling the past couple games ... I have some thoughts. (No, they don't have much to do with Sony Michel so you can stop trying to convince me).
- As Chris wrote, James White is the undisputed MVP of this team at the midway point. And it sounds like his teammates agree.
- NFL trade deadline is at 4 p.m. I think the Patriots do something, but I don't think it will be major. But I don't know.
- The Sox got back to town last night. Duck boats tomorrow. Should be a great day.
- Bruins could have Torey Krug back tonight. I'm starting to get excited. The point man cometh.
- The 4-1 Pistons – wait, what? — visit the Garden tonight.
- McAdam has a Red Sox chat at 5 p.m. Make sure you get your questions in. I don't want to have to yell at anybody.
- Not sure if I'm on Felger & Mazz today. I'm running on fumes after the LA experience and then covering the Pats last night. Will let you know.
