HOUSTON — Good morning!
A few random thoughts while I wonder how much later MLB can push these baseball games...
- Yes, it was quite the baseball game to witness in person. I just still can't believe how these Red Sox just keep coming through again and again. Every time you think they're going to fold, they stand strong. If we haven't already (I know I have), we need to realize this team is just different and require a new way of thinking about them.
- One of the big things that I don't think has been addressed is Alex Cora is coaching the pants off A.J. Hinch in this series. Maybe Cora was the reason the Astros won it all last year and Hinch has been a little exposed without Cora pulling the strings.
- But, in general, the Astros made a ton of mistakes last night. And you just can't do that against these Sox. A quickie list:

- I'm not going to rule these Astros out because they can get hot, but all their effective relievers looked tired last night. Justin Verlander has to pitch a gem.
- Leave it to the Bruins to ruin all these sweeps Boston has been running up by falling behind 3-0 to the Flames and losing 5-2. Nice work.
- You better read Miguel's Part II of Cap Crunch if you want the Patriots to add pieces for the stretch run.
