Good morning!
- It's almost fitting that the Red Sox' chance to clinch the AL East was spoiled by the bullpen. The culprit this time was two of the more reliable arms of the bullpen in Brandon Workman and Ryan Brasier. Brasier's ERA against the Yankees this year is over six now. Something to file away for later, perhaps.
- I guess the only thing Alex Cora can count on now for the postseason is to ride his starters as much as humanly possible.
- Very encouraging start for Eovaldi, blanking the Yanks over the first six innings. Would assume he's headed to the bullpen for the foreseeable future but this outing keeps the door open for a postseason start if someone gets nicked up.
- Really intriguing stuff from Greg on the Pats wide receivers under the Belichick regime that has resulted in the Gordon trade.
- We'll finally hear some official comments from the Pats today on Gordon after he passed his physical on Tuesday afternoon.
