Good morning!
- A quick two-game set for the Red Sox against the Marlins at Fenway starts tonight before they hit the road again for another week.
- Some encouraging news on the pitching front, as Eduardo Rodriguez had a strong rehab start in Portland last night (four innings, two hits, six strikeouts). Steven Wright is set to have a rehab start this week as well in Pawtucket, while Chris Sale is starting another throwing program.
- Yanks have another nice chance to make up ground this week with home matchups against the White Sox and Tigers, but they caught up a 2-0 lead late Monday night and fell 6-2 to Chicago, pushing the Sox division lead back to 6.5.
- Tons of great Pats coverage all over the site yesterday, including some great insight on Shaq Mason from his teammates following his new deal and another look at the potential final 53 by Greg.
- Sad to see an international great like Manu Ginoboli hang them up at age 41. Had a hell of a run, even in his final season he still beat the Celtics with this buzzer beater.
